Many partners and friends fly regularly with their acquainted pilot and may well like to learn enough to take safe and approriate action in the case of an emergency without necessarily completing a full PPL Course. Even taking control and keeping a height and heading on a compass helps to allow the pilot to sort out their GPS or such like can be helpful.

This companion pilot course can be constructed to match funds available (eg 5hrs flying with briefings) or to enable the companion to take-off and land as well as speak on the radio or even go as far as solo flight (nearer 10 to 15 hrs) if the relevant medical is obtained. Basically we will make up a course critique to suit your requirements and ensure it's fun too! This makes a lovely gift and can be counted towards a course of training in the future if you get the flying bug!
