Requirements

• BGA Glider pilots licence
• Minimum Bronze C with cross country endorsement
• Pass the UK Part-FCL PPL Ground Exams in:
  Air Law & Operational Procedures
  Navigation & Meteorology
  Flight Planning and Performance
  Aircraft General & Principles of Flight
  Human Performance & Communications
• Show a minimum of 10 hours flying training (expect 16 to 18hrs in reality including test below) logged with a flying instructor to include:
  
  1hr solo
  1hr stall/spin awareness training
  1hr instrument flying
• Followed by passing the Navigation Flight Test and General Flight Test (2hrs flying minimum).

You can do the R/T written at MFC & the oral test can be arranged if you do not currently hold an R/T licence. This can be issued by the CAA free of charge at the same time as licence issue.
